Woodmist Saffron

Saffy was the only girl out of 6 puppies whelped by Wren to Rocheby Old Smokey & what a lucky only girl she's been for me. She's won well in the show ring including:

Best Puppy in Show at Open level,
Other Group placings and a Group win at Open level,
 1st places at Championship level in Minor Puppy, Junior, Yearling & Graduate,

then:

A super win in Limit at a Breed club Championship show to gain her stud book number thus qualifying her for Crufts for life, then confirming that by two 3rd's in Limit - again at Breed club Championship shows which are very competitive and full of quality.

After she passed the Show Gundog Working Certificate I found myself hooked on the working side too, and so continued training her, taking the plunge and entering Working Tests. I was over the moon when we eventually won a Novice Dog/Novice handler test beating a very good entry of working bred dogs!

Saffy and I go picking up together and I get a real thrill watching her work.

I never dreamed I would do so much with Saffy, what a little star.
